We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Durrett’s passing. She was so loved by the children she taught at Kiddie Kingdom. She was also loved and respected by those who worked with her. My grandmother Libby M. Blunt worked as her aide for many years at Kiddie Kingdom she thought so much of her. If Mrs. B were here she’d tell you this. On her behalf I send you all prayers, love, and a hug. I’m sure they will greet each other in Heaven and share some memories. Prayers , love, and hugs from our family too as our children also benefited from her work at Kiddie Kingdom.

My deepest sympathy to Edith's family. I had the pleasure of working with Edith on the Ashland UMW District board and as a new district president appreciated her help and guidance. Though I later moved to Tappahannock and another UMW District, I still had the opportunity to see Edith at UMW meetings and she would always touch base with how I was doing. She was a very special lady and a wonderful expample of her faith in Our Lord and Savior. May God's grace and strength be with you.

Dear Evelyn and Doris and families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Edith was such a kind, loving, gentle woman. I especially remember her when I think about UMW events at Blackstone - always saving seats at a table so we could all sit together and share our stories! Her sweet attitude spread peace everywhere she went. I'll miss her as so many others will.

I'm so sorry to hear about Edith's passing. She was such a sweet, and loving lady! I know she will be missed by all who knew her. I'm sure that Edith is excited to see her husband and other family members who have gone ahead of her. I know my Mom and Dad, George and Elsie Curtis, are happy to see her. I'm sure there is a lot of celebrating going on with my Mom and Dad, my Grandma Raines, Nancy, Ruby, Blanche, Lora Mae, Andrew and all the Bullocks and Durretts. WOW, what a celebration!!!!
