Yayoi Earles

EARLES, Yayoi, 83, of Ashland, Virginia, joined her loving husband on August 31, 2017. She was preceded in death by her brother, Toshio; and sister, Kimiko. She is survived by her sister, Shigeko and her two daughters, Judy Walsh (Steven) and Terry McGrew (Donald); six grandchildren: Michael, Corey, Bryan, Taylor, Kevin, and Nicholas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She had a love for dogs, enjoyed gardening, and had a passion for birdwatching. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 4th from 6-8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland VA, where a service will be held the following day, Tuesday, September 5th at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
