Ada Maxine Crockett

Mrs. Ada Maxine Crockett, age 83 of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 after a decline in health. Mrs. Crockett was born on October 30, 1937 in Carroll County, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Delmon Harper and the late Delsie Mae Alexander Harper. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Stephen Crockett and two brothers, Jerry Harper and James Harper. She was co-owner of Crockett Tire Center and attended First Assembly of God. Mrs. Crockett is survived by a daughter, Lisa Gaye Crockett, three sons, Stephen Mark Crockett, Samuel James Crockett and wife, Michelle, Stephen Joshua Crockett, four sisters, Melba Seagle, Emily Watkins, Carol Gusler- Hurd and husband, John Hurd, Lynn Reeves and friend, Harvey Hughes, one brother, Glenn Harper and one grandson, James Alexander Crockett. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. A floating visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Due to Covid-19, wearing of mask and social distancing will be required.
