August Matthew Kehrberg

August Matthew Kehrberg, beautiful son of Paul and Ashlie (Quillen) Kehrberg, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2018. August, which means respected and impressive, was joyously born at home on August 10, 2018. He was named August after his great-great grandfather, embracing the amazing lineage of the Kehrberg name. His middle name of Matthew was in honor of Dr. Matthew Wills, the mother’s neurosurgeon from Topeka, Kansas. She credits him for saving her life and giving her the family she loves. August is survived by his loving parents Paul and Ashlie and his three brothers; Blake, Hudson and Pax. He is also survived by his adoring extended family; his uncle Michael (Ana) Kehrberg, his two aunts; Taylor Quillen and Alexandria Hacker-Warner, his grandparents; John Kehrberg and Becky Kehrberg, Gary and Lori Quillen, Lesamarie Hacker, great-grandparents; Maurice and Geneva Wright, Mary Quillen and Fred and Mary Jo Thatcher. August was preceded in death by his uncle Jared Quillen, his great-grandmother Marilyn Wright, great-grandparents; Roland and Hildegarde Kehrberg and great-grandfather Homer Quillen. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. in Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E. Rogers Rd., Bloomington, Indiana 47401 with Pastor Tom Ellsworth officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of August Kehrberg at the I.U. Credit Union.
