Our hearts are broken to lose Doc. He was a treasure and absolutely irreplaceable. Such a kind, sweet man. He never said an unkind word. I can imagine God saying, "Well done, My good and faithful servant."

Doc was a pleasure to be around. I had the honor of working with him for over 15 years during the IU basketball games. He would always have a brown bag lunch packed by Bonnie with a sandwich and candy. We would have nice long talks while waiting on the visiting team and refs. Thanks Doc for always being there.

Doc was indeed a treasure to all who knew him. He loved IU almost as much as he loved the Lord. He will truly be missed; however, we do know that we will see him again one day when Jesus returns!

"Doc was such a nice man. Both my wife, Dana, and I had the great joy to work with him at the IU games. He was definitely a big IU Hoosier Fan and had such wonderful stories to share. He will truly be missed." Bob Trimmer
