Mary Susan LaFary

Mary Susan Fulford Melton LaFary, 96, of Bloomington died Thursday Morning, January 16, 2020 in her home. She was born May 17, 1923 in Bloomington to Newt J. Fulford and Fanny Spires Fulford where she was one of 11 children. She was retired from Otis Elevator. Survivors include her Sister, Eleanor Kinser of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Ralph A. Melton, Tammy Brown and Loretta Melton all of Bloomington; 13 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, Herschel C. Melton; her second husband, Kenneth C. LaFary; her son, Ralph H. Melton; seven brothers, William, Orville, Albert, Earl, Alva, Irvin and Franklin Fulford; and two sisters, Ilene Hammer and Norma Hayden Mary had attended the Mitchell Church of God, and loved spending time with her family. Graveside Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Hindustan Cemetery, 8891 North Old State Road 37, Bloomington, with Pastor Steve Baker officiating.
