Anice C. Toms, 95, of Charlottesville, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Anice was born on January 8, 1926, in Lovingston, Virginia, to the late Bland M. Campbell and Sarah Fitzgerald Campbell. She worked and retired from Ix Silk Mill in Charlottesville.
In addition to her parents, Anice was preceded in death by her five brothers, Massie, Earl, Edward, Jesse, and Harvey Campbell; five sisters, Hattie Thompson, Mabel Tanner, Christine Hughes, Shirley Powell, and Geneva Harris; husband Lee Blackwell; daughter Patricia Pyles; and husband Bill Toms.
Anice is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as a sister-in-law, June Knight.
The family would like to recognize her special friend Greg Baroch, who visited and called Anice on a regular basis. Special thanks as well to Dee and Donna Sparks for their loving care of Anice.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 1pm, at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville.
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
