Jimmie is a great man he had a fulfilled spirit of Joy from within and it shined on the outside and no matter what he was going through he had a smile and only wished to share laughter with people. It was a pleasure to meet him and get to know him. I enjoyed having fun conversation and he loved to tell me about his family and was great at listening to me and to hear about my family and life. I only knew him just over a year however that was a blessing because He treated everyone with respect and to me he felt like family and I always had a hug for him! and he always had a hug for me! I had the pleasure to meet his beautiful wife and son Chip once and his bestfriend Terry who they caught up on life. just hanging out each saturday at the shop! when I left the donut shop I missed him and loved sending messages of greetings between friends. I pray his transition from this life was peaceful for him and for all who love him I hope there is always a smile when he is in thoughts and conversations. what an inspiration of a human Jimmie is!
love and light to your family

Sorry to read of Jimmie's passing. More than 55 years ago, I worked at a local grocery store here in Madison County. Jimmie was driving the bread truck at that time and we got to know him very well. Over the years I have thought of him when I would come to Charlottesville. I have wonderful memories of Jimmie and my prayers are with you and your family.
