I was fortunate to have worked with Ed for many years at the Columbus Dolly Madison Bakery. Everyone knew him as a Master Electrician, but he was also a skilled Machinist, Fabricator and Millwright when the occasion called for it. I have many fond memories of working with Ed, and I am thankful for the many skills I he taught me 30 years ago. I did not stop by often enough after he retired, but the few times I did, I really enjoyed catching up with him out in the garage. I will miss him…

PS. Ed rarely let me get a photo of him, and always managed to run for cover when I had the camera out. I'll share this photo anyway, because it reminds me that he was always working and rarely stood still... ;)

Papaw, I have so many great memories with you and grandma.. Im glad I got to spend almost every summer at your place!! You taught me so many life lessons and how to become a young man. Im gonna miss your smart butt comments, dry sense of humor, and above all else, that smiling face. Im glad my sons had the chance for you to leave a lasting impression on them, and glad they were able to get to know one of the most important men in my life!! ♥️

I remember Ed as fun loving and a jokester. Celebrate Ed's live he had a great life. May God keep you wrap in His loving arms.
I hope you find peace in this Bible Verse - Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

My Beloved Father
You will always be in my heart. I cherish every moment I spent with you and will miss all of our phone calls. I loved hearing your voice.
I cannot imagine not seeing you sitting in the garage watching TV or listening to your music. I will miss seeing you on the riding mower.
I will miss you teaching my son about wiring or whatever project you were working on. I will miss watching you listen to all the sounds when the kids were on the dirt bike in the field. I will miss you every holiday or family gathering. But, you will always be with me, wherever life takes me.
