Forrest L Marshall

Forrest L. Marshall Jr. age 71, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy J. Marshall; children, Brian (Collette) Marshall of Georgia, Forrest B. Marshall of Phoenix, AZ and Nancy 'Shellie' (fiancé, Cary Monroe) Marshall; granddaughter, Keira Olivia Monroe; niece, Kim (Derek) Beach and nephew, Richard (Robyn) Marshall Jr. Preceded in death by brother, Richard Marshall. Forrest was born on January 12, 1947 in East Chicago, IN to the late Forrest and Myra Marshall and was a 1965 graduate of Gavit High School. On March 27, 1971 he married the love of his life, Nancy Crosariol and together they raised 3 children. He worked at American Can Company and Silgan for a total of 41 years before retiring. Forrest was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Pastor Mark Wilkins officiating. Inurnment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Gathering with the family will take place at the funeral home from 9am-11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of donations to the American Heart Association.
