JOHN W. SITARZ CROWN POINT, IN John W. Sitarz, age 59, of Crown Point, IN passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon; daughter, Rachel Sitarz of Lafayette, IN; three brothers: Don (Sandra) Sitarz of Chicago, IL, Jimmy (Denise) Sitarz of Crown Point, IN and Joe (Tricia) Sitarz of Schererville, IN; two nieces: Jessica and Dana; and one nephew, Joe. Mr. Sitarz was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Ethel Sitarz. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (one-half mile south of US 30), Schererville, IN with Shawn Cornett, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Sitarz was currently employed at Lake Central High School in St. John, IN. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and being a swim dad. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's loving memory to the William Riley Residence or the American Cancer Society .
