Conrad Jerry Brown

On Monday, July 11, 2016, Conrad “Jerry” Brown, born December 26, 1930 in Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away at age 85 after battling pneumonia/lung disease. He was a loving husband father and grandfather who joined the United States Navy in 1948 and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Brown; daughter, Sheri Dodson (Shannon), son, Robert Brown (Mandy), all of Culpeper; son Mark Brown of Ashburn, Virginia; grandchildren, Sarah Brown, Spencer Brown and Casey Dodson, who loved him dearly; and sister, Margaret B. Krom, Jupiter, Florida. A memorial service was held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia, at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Interment followed in the new grounds of Culpeper National Cemetery, Chandler Street, Culpeper, Virginia.
