I had the pleasure of getting to know both Dale and Ethel, when they were tablemates of my mother, Harriet Scott at The Culpeper. Sharing a meal together was always a treat for me, and they were both so kind to my mother. Dale always wanted to tell me a joke, so I learned to have one of my own ready to share with him, so that he could add to his joke collection. He seemed to appreciate that. My condolences to Debbie's family.

Debbie, so sorry to hear about both your Mom and Dad. They had a wonderful long life together though and that's a lot to be grateful for. I have so many memories of them and all the grief we gave them as teenagers! Glad our parents got to see us through all of that. I think in the long run we made them very proud. I wish well to you and your family. Take good care of each other.
