Arthur P Nendel Jr.

Arthur P. Nendel Jr. 93, of Evansville, IN passed away on, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at The Good Samaritan Home. He was born on October 6, 1925 to the late Arthur P. Nendel Sr. and Lorene (Schuerger) Nendel. Arthur graduated from Bosse High School. He attended the University of Evansville until serving in the Army in the Philippines during WWII. He was the owner of Valley Business Machines, and a past president of the Westside Nut Club, the Westside Optimist, Midwest Office Machine Dealers and AMS. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey (Ellis) Nendel; sister, Mary Jane Williams. Arthur is survived by his sister, Ruth Shellenberger of North Carolina; daughter, Cynthia, of Evansville; son, Paul of Atlanta, and grandson Andrew of Evansville; nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 2227 W Michigan St. Evansville, IN. with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ or Weekday Christian Education.
