My thoughts and tears are with you all with the loss of this very special person. Though I, a picky eater, was a bit scared of him at mealtime as a child (like my own father!), he was always gentle to me and as he grew older became only more special. I enjoyed going to Covert Street anytime I was anywhere near and both your parents were always so welcoming. You were so lucky to have him so much of your lives. Brenda and I lost our fathers so young, and mom's too., Thank you for sharing yours!
Love,
Sandra

Donna, Patricia, and Charles Shellie, so very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He lived his life serving others through his service to our country and then his volunteer work serving others in your community in his retirement years. What a legacy he leaves behind. May he Rest In Peace. Blessings to you at this difficult time. Fondly, your cousin Sharon

I was so sorry to read of Chuck’s passing. Not sure if you remember me, but we were neighbors on Covert Avenue many years ago. —the Spacy’s.
I have been cleaning his teeth for the past 25 years. I always enjoyed his appointments. We would reminisce about the old neighborhood- not quite the same as it was- and he would catch me up on the family. He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
