Daniel Pate

Daniel Pate, 61, of Evansville, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born November 2, 1949, in Evansville. Daniel was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt, and go camping. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Alice Pate; and aunt, Getta Willis. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Virginia (Gilmore) Pate; sons, Jonathan Pate (Fiancé Samantha); Daniel Pate, and Bobby Pate (Katie); grandchildren, William and Brooke; special nephew, Brian, and many nieces and nephews; cousins, Sheila, Darlene, Jackie, and Kenny Paul. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any Wildlife Conservation Fund.
