Deloris M. Gentry

Deloris Margaret Gentry, 92, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Heritage Nursing Home. She was born on May 9, 1928, in Elberfeld, Indiana. Deloris was a member of St. Joseph in the County since 1978. She was a beautician for many years and taught at Tri-State Beauty College before retiring in the summer of 1989. She enjoyed doing hair and working out in the garden. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert E. Gentry; son, Scott Gentry; and brother, Marvin Zehner. Deloris is survived by son, Stephen Gentry; grandchildren, Andrea and Matthew Gentry. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum, Heritage Chapel, officiated by Fr. Gene Schroeder, with entombment to follow.
