Elizabeth Annetta Lickey
August 23, 1935 – June 3, 2017

Elizabeth Annetta Lickey, 81, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at her home. She was born August 23, 1935, in Marion, KY to the late Carl and Christine (Gray) Woodall.
She formerly attended Evansville Grace Baptist Church and most recently attended Washington Avenue Baptist Church. Elizabeth enjoyed quilting, crocheting towels and crafting. She also enjoyed candy making, and loved making food and candy for others. Elizabeth lived her life to help others, and was known as “mom” to many children in her neighborhood.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ray; brother, Gene Woodall; sisters, Maybell Edge, Shirley Reaser and Baby Margaret; and parents.
She is survived by her children, George Rettig, Reggie Lickey, Debra Richardson, Ray Lickey, Jr., Donna Taylor, Rex Lickey, Diann Kriegshauser, Rick Lickey and Randy Lickey; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 great, great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Woodall; sisters, Jerry Long, Wilma Wire, Sue Porter and Joy Blythe; and “heart adopted children”, Bradley, Kathy and Pam Higdon, Carol “Nanny” Bratcher, Brian Beyers, Henry, Hank and Debbie Lane, and Brandon Hall.
Funeral services were held 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Flowers, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends visited Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
