Obituary of H. Kaye Villines
Kaye Villines, 70, of Evansville, passed away at home on December 30, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 10, 1947 to the late Mary (Noe) and Henry McDonald. She graduated in 1965 from Central High School where she was a cheerleader and sang in the choir. She dedicated her life to supporting her husband and raising four active children. She was the biggest cheerleader at all the games. Kaye was an avid caregiver and always willing to lend a helping hand. She even took in another teenager to raise. Kaye was the life of the party, always laughing and forever dancing. She loved to sew, crochet, scrapbook and enjoyed many crafting projects. Affectionately known as Mammy, she found the greatest love in her eight grandchildren. She spent quality time with each of them to create everlasting memories. She never missed an opportunity to support and encourage them. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed. You found your peace and are dancing once again! She was proceeded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, William “Bill” Villines and her parents. She is survived by her children; Cindy Staples, Greg (Julie) Villines of Cumming, GA, Tami (Kevin) Wilke and Steven (Sonya) Villines; grandchildren Brittney Villines, Katelyn (Tyler) Tuley, Karlee Coleman, LCPL Zachary and Matthew Villines, Sarah, Vincent, and William Villines; and honorary daughter Erin Algee; sisters Susie (Stan) Word and Joanie (Mark) Daywalt , brother, Wayne (Missy) McDonald, Sister-in-laws, Diana (Laval) Emmerson, Brenda (Dave) Bohannon, and Peggy Hamilton and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 5, 2018, at Salem UCC Heusler, 11325 E. Old Lower Mt. Vernon Road, officiated by Pastor Al Schmitz, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Special thanks to her Deaconess VNA Hospice nurses, aides, and volunteers that took great care of our beloved Mammy. Memorial contributions to be made to the Salem UCC- Huesler cemetery fund.
