Jerry Wayne Norrick

Jerry “Wayne” Norrick, 80, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born August 16, 1940, in Evansville. Wayne was most of all a family man, and always liked to make memories. He loved Jesus. Wayne was a member of Harwood Baptist Church. He always stuck to what he said. He liked to joke and “aggravate” his family, which they all knew that he loved them. There will never be another Grandpa Holler. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing, and watching the birds. He also liked to golf. Wayne was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed. Wayne is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther (Calvert) Norrick; children, Jeff (Kathy), Bill (Kristi), Tina (David) and Lisa (Jason); grandchildren, Josh (Amber), Chasidy (Nick), Jessica (Jonathan), Kacey, Zachary, Jasa, and Gracie; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Addalyn, Remington, Lane, and Baby Tucker; sisters, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Alexander West Chapel with live streaming at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA, officiated by Pastor James Gibson, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
