Louis P. Wattam, 95 of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Bethel Manor. He was born on July 21, 1925 to the late Louis and Normalee Wattam.
He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the VFW 1114. Louis retired after 25 years from Alcoa and was an avid fisherman.
Louis was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Alice (Calhoun) Wattam; sister, Norma Glaser.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy (Cindy) Wattam , Clearwater, FL; Trent (Sue) Wattam, Newburgh, IN; daughter, Terri Galey, Evansville, IN, Tracy (Ward) Routt, Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Jenn, Samantha, Colin, Jason, Justin, Rochlle, Amber; great grandchild, Alice; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel. Friends may visit Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, and 10:00 a.m. until service time at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
