Mike was one of the first people I worked with when I started with the USDA in 1991. He was a very nice guy & never said an unkind word. I am sorry he did not get to enjoy more years of retirement. Thoughts & prayers to Kelli & Mike's family

I really enjoyed serving the two of you whenever you came in for a bite to eat. I’ll always remember how kind he was! I loved your relationship and I could always tell how much he adored you, Mrs. Remmel. May he rest his soul.

Mike was always smiling. He was the first to say hello and the last to say goodbye. He was always kind to me and willing to transport me when needed. He was in a great deal of pain but continued to go to our monthly dinners until the pandemic began. I never heard him be rude to anyone. Although no one is perfect.
He was very good to Kelly. They spent a lot of time working on their home together. I will miss him. But, I am sure we will meet again. God watch over him and all of us till his son returns and takes us home.
