Mildred Kron Alms

Mildred (Kron) Alms, 87, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Heritage Center. She was born August 24, 1923. She retired from the Evansville School Corporation. She was a member of the Altar Guild at Trinity Lutheran Church in Evansville and VFW Post # 1114 Ladies Auxiliary. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Oscar J. Alms. She is survived by her sons, Richard and Randall and wife Kathy Alms; daughter, Karen Sue Alms; step granddaughter, Katie Mull; step great-granddaughter, Alyse, all of Evansville; sister, Helen Kahre; and nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Martin Noland, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 West Illinois Street, Evansville, IN 47710.
