Patricia Lee Gwaltney

Patricia Lee Gwaltney, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at River Pointe Health Campus. She was born January 26, 1928. A graduate of Bosse High School, she was a mother and homemaker and married to Robert M. Gwaltney, Sr., 54 years until his death in 2001. She was a member of the Methodist Temple and active in the Hadi Shrine and it’s affiliates the Daughters of the Nile and Honored Ladies. As an avid bridge player she played in local clubs and with friends some that she had played with since high school. An excellent cook, she gladly served as the host for family dinners and gatherings. She is survived by son, Robert M. Gwaltney, Jr., (Susan Gerth) of Evansville, Indiana and daughter, Kathleen M. Donnelly (Steve) of Edgewater, Florida; grandchildren, Sean Paterson (Bethany) and Kaitlyn Paterson of Daytona, Florida; and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by, her parents, Earl and Dorothy Lacer; sister, Barbara Giovanetti (John); step father Ralph Legeman; and step brother, Brandon Wade. While many friends and family have past before her, she is still survived by numerous, friends, cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and mentioned nightly in her prayers.
