Ruth A. Bereza

Ruth A. Bereza, 85, of Evansville, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. She was a member of Beacon Nazarene Church and enjoyed bowling. She worked at Chicago Ellis for 17 years, then after retirement worked at Dusty’s Restaurant. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John Bereza; and two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her sisters, Sue (Melvin) Effinger, Syble Cueller, Pauline Evans, Barbara (Mike) Williams and Wanda (Charlie) Wagner; many nieces and nephews; and godson, Devin Johnson. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tim Moran, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
