Wayne D. Schonabaum

Wayne D. Schonabaum, 78, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born in Evansville, on October 31, 1939, to the late William and Elnora (Smith) Schonabaum. Wayne was a US Army Veteran who worked at Moll Tool and Plastics for over 25 years and Shoe Carnival for 13 years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed softball and tennis in his younger years. Wayne loved his garden and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a past member of Bethel Temple’s visitation program. He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Kiersten Robertson. Wayne is survived by his wife, Brenda Schonabaum; daughter, Kristen Miller (Jim); son, Ryan Schonabaum; grandchildren, Kourtney Robertson, Sierra May (Jeff); great grandchild, Abby Grove; brothers, Jerry Schonabaum (Pat), Larry Schonabaum (Missy); sister, Evelyn Foster; nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any Fifth Third Bank for the benefit of Wayne Schonabaum.
