William P Ditterline

William Paul Ditterline, 83, of Evansville Indiana, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 peacefully at home. William was born in Hebbardsville, Kentucky on April 26, 1937 to the late Paul and Reva (Cummins) Ditterline.
After graduating high school in 1955, Bill joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa and the Philippines. Bill later obtained a degree from ITT Institute. He was employed by Mead Johnson and retired to Gilbertsville, KY in 1992. Bill was a member of Lessing Masonic Lodge 464 and received his 50 year award recently. He served as Worshipful Master in 1969. Bill was also a member of Eastern Star #555 and was a Past Patron there as well. He was also a member of the Hadi Shrine Motorcycle Unit.
Bill was an avid reader, a strong Clabber player, a retired fisherman and a member of AMVETS Post #84. He was a member of St. James West United Methodist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Helen R (Nenneker). Bill is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Paul) DeWitt, Vickie Stanley and Rhonda (David) Corey; Grandchildren Brittany and Shawn DeWitt, Jamie Stanley-Bahnsen, Chelyn Jensen, Benjamin Corey, Chance Corey, and several great grandchildren. Bill also leaves behind a dedicated caregiver and close family member Pamela Eickhoff.
