William “Bill” Like, Jr., 70, of Newburgh, Indiana, and received his promotion to glory Thursday Morning, September 31st at 12:35 p.m. He was born on January12, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late William, Sr. and Rita (Bayer) Like.
His survivors are his wife, Sue Like; son, Jon and Amy Like of North Carolina; daughter, Candace and Josh Nally of Newburgh; stepsons, Mark Wright, Daniel Ferguson, Chris and Michael Lawson; grandsons, Crosby and Wells Nally; granddaughters, Danielle and Elizabeth Ferguson; brothers Robert, Tom and Gloria, Jimmy and Debra all of Evansville; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. Bill’s many hobbies included cars, trucks and motorcycles. Bill could fix just about anything and enjoyed fishing, ATVs and restoring old lawn tractors. He was an enthusiast with remote control cars, airplanes and boats.
The things Bill’s family will remember most about him was his patience, kindness and loving spirit that he gave to his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
