~ IN LOVING MEMORY ~
BEATRIZ MARIA FIADEIRO
Beatriz Maria Fiadeiro, 47 years young, passed away on June 15th, 2020 in Fairfax, VA.
Beatriz was born in Escondido, CA to Manuel and Maria-Luisa Fiadeiro on March 26th, 1973. After moving to and living in CT for 10 years, then Maryland for 9 years, where Beatriz graduated from Sherwood High School, her and her parents settled in Fairfax, VA.
While she struggled with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and later kidney failure, she was a beautiful soul and always maintained a joyful and kindhearted personality. Even though her physical abilities became constrained in her later life, she experienced much happiness throughout her life journey. She was often meeting friends from the arthritis club, spending time with her parents, going to the movies and attending sporting events with her brother Marcus, playing with her dogs, and making new friends during her many medical appointments. Beatriz also dedicated a lot of time helping others and volunteering at the Fairfax County Library, for which in 2003 she received an Exceptional Volunteer Recognition Reward for devoting over 1,000 hours of service.
She may have left this world but she leaves behind a legacy of relentless optimism against all odds, which we can all learn from for our own battles in life.
Beatriz is survived by her younger brother Marcus, her mother Maria-Luisa, her father Manuel, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Portugal, family friends the Camacho’s, her sister-in-law Erika, countless friends, and her beloved puppy Busa.
Our dear Beatriz, you are loved, you are missed, and you will always be remembered.
Donations in Beatriz’s honor may be given to the ASPCA, the Arthritis Foundation, or the Fairfax Library Foundation.
The Fiadeiro family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many doctors and nurses who helped her, Kaiser Permanente, and St. Leo’s church.
Visitation and funeral services will be at 6pm Thursday June 25th, 2020 at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA.
Burial services will be held at 3pm Friday June 26th, 2020 at National Memorial Park with Father Whitestone of St. Leo’s Church, officiating. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.

Your beautiful smile and kindness will always be on my mind when I think about you.
I will remember you for a long time to come.
May you be in Peace.
Beatriz, you had a sweet and friendly way about you that is extremely rare in this world. We will miss you greatly but take comfort in knowing that God has welcomed you home.
My dear Beatriz,
From the first day I met you, you welcomed me with such sweetness and grace that it felt like we became sisters immediately. I am heartbroken to see you go as you brought so much joy and resilience to this world. You'll always be in my heart and I'll cherish the time we spent together.
You were genuine kind quiet but once I got to know you you were funny you made us laugh we sat at the library we were waiting for Natalie and we just talked until the fist
