Giancarlo Allyson Yu Goyone

Lance Corporal Giancarlo Y. Goyone, “Carlo”, 24, was born in Taipei, Taiwan on July 25, 1991 and died on March 28, 2016, at Camp Schwab in Okinawa, Japan as an active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Carlo lived in Manila, Philippines, along with his two older brothers and an older sister. Carlo and his siblings migrated into the United States, to join their Mother and lived in Arlington, Virginia. He went to Hoffman-Boston elementary school in Arlington, Virginia; then went to Holmes Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia; and then graduated from South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia in 2010. Carlo received much recognition from academic to militia. He is survived by his Mother, Alicia; his oldest brother, Michael; his older sister, Catherine; his older brother, Rodolfo; his nephews, Calvin and Alexander; his nieces, Alicia and Yolanda; maternal grandmother Aurora; his sister-in-law, Geraldine; brother-in-law Michael; Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and Family viewing will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016; from 4 p.m.- 8 pm. and services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016, 1 p.m. followed by his Interment at 2.pm. All Services are being conducted at The National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Va. 22042.
