Melody Ann Scheuerle

Melody Ann Scheuerle (1949 - 2017) Scheuerle, Melody Ann, 67, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Melody was born in Washington D.C. in 1949, to Albert and Myrtle Hardesty. She worked at the Pentagon. She then spent many years as a homemaker raising her children. She also worked as a preschool teacher, and youth group leader at her church. She had a great love of children. She is survived by her children, David Hawley (Jen), and Tara Wagoner (Jon); her 5 grandchildren (Taylor and Brendyn Wagoner; Spencer, Morgan, and Audrey Hawley); brothers Michael (Sussy) and Christopher (Lesley); and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Scheuerle; parents Albert and Myrtle; and brother, Ron. Family and friends will be received for a visitation at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad street, Falls Church, VA on Friday, October 6th from 5-8 pm. A memorial ceremony will be held at Murphy Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7th at 10:30 am.
