Vanessa Lynn Wilcox-Suarez

Vanessa Lynn Wilcox-Suarez, age 42, of Falls Church, Virginia left this world suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Vanessa was born May 19, 1980 in Fresno California. Vanessa was born with a servant's heart and a love for animals. Her free time was filled with helping others. She had a heart for those needing help, a hug, a kind word or a laugh. Whether it was helping a friend move, organizing a garage, cleaning, a road trip, a shoulder to cry on or rescuing an animal in need she could always be found serving others. She had an infectious smile and a hilarious sense of humor. She was unique and quirky and unafraid to be herself which always made others feel at ease. She was known for consistently putting others before herself and fighting for the underdog. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Percy Wilcox; and her paternal, grandmother Lupe Bonilla. Vanessa is survived by her mother Vicki, her sisters Elizabeth, Candace and Marlo, her Auntie Joyce, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A visitation & remembrances for Vanessa will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042. A celebration of life and reflections tribute service will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A catered reception for Vanessa Lynn Wilcox-Suarez will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
