Betty J Dreyfus

BETTY J. DREYFUS, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at Heritage Park Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 5, 1930 the daughter of the late Anthony and Mabel (Hazlett) Zapinski. She was a Factory Seamstress at General Motors Fisher Body. She was a member of Fort Wayne Women's Bowling Association, having served on the Board of Directors. Surviving are her two sons, Jeff (Gina Wirick) Dreyfus of Fort Wayne, and Clem (Suzanne) Dreyfus Jr. of Fort Wayne; daughter, Kathy Dreyfus Feldman of Detroit, Mich.; six grandchildren, Ryan Dreyfus, Alexandra Dreyfus, and Madeline Dreyfus all of Fort Wayne, Chad Feldman of Chicago, Evan Feldman of Detroit, and Curt Dreyfus of Macon, Ga.; step-grandchildren, Miranda Crone and Elijah Crone; great-grandson, Caleb Feldman. She was preceded in death by her husband Clement Dreyfus in 2013; son, Alan Dreyfus in 2010; and grandson, Cory Dreyfus. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Mike Harris officiating.
