Betty Jo Orendorff

Betty Jo Orendorff, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 1, 2021. Born on July 17, 1936, in Hartford City, she was a daughter of the late Isaac J and Minnie (nee Chick) Bennett. Betty Jo retired in 2007, after 40 years of service as a Field Representative, for the US Department of Commerce. Betty was an avid bowler, loved playing Bridge, and spending time with her family at the lake.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Julie) Orendorff of Angola, daughters, Charisse Orendorff and Kim (Rex) Coak both of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Andy (Ashley) Coak, Jody (Mike) Trent, Jessica (Brian) Kujawski and Megan (Grant) Clyne, Kelly (Brandon) Basham, Kerry (Chase) Cornils, Isaac Beiswanger, and Tyler (Deserae) Beiswanger; great-grandchildren, Noah, Eli, Naomi, and Sam Trent, Austin, Mason, and Giselle Coak, Camden, Bentley, and Sadie Jo Basham, Carter, and Cameran Cornils, Kenzie, Luke, and Matthew Kujawski, Peyton Clyne, Osiris, and Orion Beiswanger; and sisters, Carol Jean Stone, and Debra (Ralph) Penrod, both of Hartford City. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years, Louis "Lou" Orendorff.
A family funeral service will be 1:30pm, Monday, March 8, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne), with calling from 11:30am, until the time of service. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
