Clella was such a dear lady. She and Leon were both so involved in our church through the years. It was obvious how important their love of God and the church included all of its members. Their love for each other and their family just radiated out to include those around them. I also knew them through Job's Daughters as a teen. Anytime Clella greeted you, her eyes just lit up with love. The last time I visited her was in late December. She was so talkative and cheerful. She seemed to be feeling the best that I had seen her in a long time. I pray that her warm, loving spirit will become a part of all who loved her. We all can feel comfort that she and Leon are together in God's everlasting peace. With heartfelt sympathy to the family from both Jerry and from me.
Sincerely, Diana Ream

Dear Brown cousins,
Our sincere condolences to you all. Aunt Dutch has been a big part of our growing up years. Wava fondly tells the story of becoming friends with her back during WW2 while they worked together during wartime, and introducing Dutch to her brother Leon. The rest is a beautiful family history.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as Dutch is once again united with Uncle Lee.

Dutch was an inspiration to us and to our children during our years at Leo UMC as well as in more recent years. She & Leon were generous with their love + encouragement to our children's Youth Group. Even now, our children still fondly recall some of the fun stories + experiences they shared many years ago. Clella & Leon have left a legacy of "How to Live + Love in the midst of life's challenges" = the best memories of all.

My heart and sympathy go out to the family . During this hard time I hope you can find peace and comfort knowing that grandma let a long and prosperous life . It is amazing to think about all the things she experienced and seen in her 94 years of life she was a genuine person with a kind and thoughtful heart, I will always remember the time when she introduced me to people in her church as her grandson even though I wasn’t . That is one memory that I will always remember about her . I hope you find peace during this hard time .
