Clifford W. Fineout

Clifford W. Fineout, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday March 18, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Shiawasassee County, Michigan, on September 14, 1928, he was a son of the late Bruce and Emily (nee. Richison) Fineout. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War, and retired in 1982 from Phelps Dodge, Fort Wayne, after 22 years of service. He was a kind and gentle man who loved his family very much, He liked golf, woodworking, and was an avid Michigan State Fan. He is survived by his wife of 58years, Betty J. (nee. Wilbur) Fineout; son, Craig Fineout; step-daughter, Cherylynn Hoffman; two granddaughters, and one grandson. He was also preceded in death by his son, Randy Fineout.. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, March 21, at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday March, 20, at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Allen County SPCA.
