Daniel B. Doehrmann, 61, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Fort Wayne, March 14, 1961, the son of Douglas B. and Jane A. Doehrmann, who survive.
Dan graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1979 and earned his Associates from IPFW. He worked for New York Life and was a Financial Services Professional for the past 18 years. Dan was a long time and dedicated member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and held various leadership roles. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed yard work, detailing his cars and boat, and an all-around handyman. Dan was also an avid Purdue fan. His true passion was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda S. Doehrmann of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Darren (Cassie) Doehrmann of Louisville, KY, Ryan Doehrmann of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters, Susan (Tom) Bandor of LaOtto, IN, Jennifer (Bill) Wiehe of Fort Wayne, IN; and two grandchildren, Quinn and Luke Doehrmann,
A funeral service to honor Dan's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd. Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am, until time of service. A visitation will also take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the church. He will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
