Ella Lue Dunlap

Ella Lue Dunlap, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away September 4, 2020. Born on July 4, 1927 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Olen and Audra (Karnes) Sanxter. Lue was a homemaker and a member of Pro-To Home Economics Club. She also taught nursery school at First Presbyterian Church and Waynedale United Methodist Church. Later she became office manager at Associated Anesthesiologists retiring in 1987. Lue enjoyed traveling, fishing, Indiana University basketball, birdwatching, playing Euchre, and spending time at family gatherings most of all. Lue is survived by her sons, Mark (Colleen) Feighner and Lance (Christine) Feighner; daughter, Jan (Thomas) Tidwell; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Rieth. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kay Sanxter; sister, Sue Ann Meyer; and husband, Norman Dunlap. At this time, services for Lue will be private.
