Ethel M. Crick, 98, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Covington Manor Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 13, 1914 in Roann, IN. She worked for General Electric and Wolf and Dessauer in the Marketing Room and Tea Room, and was also a honorary Toastmaster. Most important to her was her family, friends and her faith; she was an active member of Simpson United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed traveling, watching college sports, listening to country music, Komet hockey and Coney Island hot dogs. Surviving are her son, David (June) Crick; daughters, Karen (Eric) Richardson and Betty (Hugh) Flennery, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Cynthia (Paul) Murphy, Matt Richardson, Ray (Tammy) Flennery and Michael (Brittany Thomas) Richardson; great grandchildren, Jacob, Caris, Chloe, Dane, Arianna and Bruce; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard R. Crick, parents, James and Chloe Berry, twin-sister, Edith Yagel, sister, Luella Rhoads and brother, Everette Berry. Funeral Service is 11:00 am Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation is also 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church. www.klaehnfahlmeltonfunerals.com
