Grace V. Hirschy Hirschy Jones

GRACE V. (HIRSCHY) JONES, 85, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital. Born May 2, 1927, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna Hirschy. She was a member of North Christian Church. She retired in 1995 as a EKG Technician from St. Joseph Hospital. Surviving are her daughter, Sally (Gary) Jones-Evans of Fort Wayne; sons, R. Reed (Pam) Jones Sr. of Fort Wayne and Michael (Roseann) Jones of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren Cindy Closson, Robert (Jennifer) Jones, John (Angie) Evans, Grace Ann Jones, and Heather Closson; five great-grandchildren; sister, Sally (Ross) McMahan of Indianapolis; and brother, Thomas Hirschy of Florida. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1977; and brothers, Ansel and James Hirschy. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Kate Terlep officiating. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the church.
