Louise Ann Buuck

Louise Ann Buuck, 92, of Ossian, Indiana and formerly of South Bend, Indiana, slipped from our embrace and into our Father’s gentle care on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Sage Bluff Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 30, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Ignatius “Ike” Walter Maciulski and Genevieve (Arendt) Maciulski. A tomboy at heart, she grew up in South Bend, Indiana. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and baseball, having even tried out for the South Bend Blue Sox. In the late 70’s, she moved from South Bend to Fort Wayne. She married her husband, Norman Buuck, who preceded her in death. A lover of games, she enjoyed playing Yahtzee, Scrabble, and cards, especially Euchre. She loved sitting on her porch at her farm and treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Barry (Cheryl) Soos of Mishawaka, Indiana and Dan (Patti) Soos of South Bend, Indiana; daughters, Linda Sabade of Okeechobee, Florida, and Vickie (John) Lobeck of Chassell, Michigan; stepdaughters, Carol (Harold) Stalhut and Joanne (Lenny) Mysliwiec, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
