Margaret Helen Ludlum, 94, of Fort Wayne was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Helen was born on November 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Otto A. and Margaret C. Langston and was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to her caregivers at Miller’s Merry Manor, Visiting Nurse, and her close friend Betty. To Helen, family was a priority. She was also blessed with two granddaughters, Lynn and Andrea, and four great grandchildren, Morgan Peyton, Steven, and Declan; and by her son-in-law, Keith (Darlene) Petre who continued to hold a special place in her heart after her daughter Rebecca’s passing. She married Jackson L. Ludlum on November 16, 1946 and he preceded her in passing. Besides her parents, her husband, and her daughter, she was preceded in passing by her daughter, Madonna; and siblings, Doloris, Carol, Roscoe, Charles, Arthur, and Edgar. Dear Dick and family,

I have so many memories of being together at Southside Church of the Nazarene. Your folks are such a good part of those memories. Mike and I were sorry to hear of your Moms passing. Heaven has gained another one of His faithful servants. Praying for all of you. Mike and Julie (Foreman) Shalley

Dear Dick,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I also did not know of the passing of Donna in 2016.
My Thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. Sincerely Joan Steere

I went to Southside Nazarene with my parents James and Ruth Jackson. I remember Helen Ludlum as a wonderful person. It has been a really long time since I have heard of her. Both my parents are gone but I just wanted the family to know that I did remember her. I also remember her son Dick Ludlum. I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you
