Marjory Irene Furthmiller

Marjory Irene (Miller) Furthmiller, 89, of New Haven, IN, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 30, 2023, at Ascension Living Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, IN. Born March 9, 1933, in Decatur, IN, she was the daughter of the late Roland J. and Emma C. (Mitch) Miller. She was a past member of New Haven United Methodist Church, and a loving mother to Dana (Katie) Furthmiller, and 3 beautiful granddaughters, Erica (Harrison Kamons) Furthmiller of Ocala, FL, Alexis (Adam) Freiburger of Fishers, IN, and Natalie Furthmiller of Fort Wayne, IN. Marjory was a graduate of Bobo High School in Pleasant Mills, IN, and worked for General Electric in Fort Wayne, IN, during the 60's, and ITT in Fort Wayne, IN, later in life, until retiring at the age of 75. Marjory enjoyed playing bingo and Keno, along with frequent bus trips to casino's, including annual trips to Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Miller of New Haven, IN, in 2007 and ex-husband David L. Furthmiller of New Haven, IN, in 2001. She is survived by brothers Bryce Miller and Kay Miller of Ohio. Funeral service will be 5:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 3:00 pm, until time of service.
