Michael John Momenee

Michael John Momenee, age 43, of New Haven, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Mike enjoyed life, he loved his wife and children dearly and his parents and sisters. He had a heart of gold. He worked for a time for the A&O Sweet Shop as a bartender as well as Windows, Doors and More before moving on with his own business, Great Deal Remodeling where he worked until his health issues began. Mike loved doing home remodels, working with wood and helping anyone he possibly could. He leaves behind his wife, Jenny and four children at home, Eric, Levi, Kyle and Samantha, step-son, Paul (Brit) Armstrong of Ironton, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Paul, Emery and Molly of Ironton, Ohio. HIs parents, Rick and Linda Momenee of New Haven, IN. Sisters, Ricki (Paul) Bowman of New Haven, IN, Dawn (Mindy) Wiggins of Ft. Wayne, IN; aunts, Vicki (Danny) Reno and Carol Thurber; uncle, Gary (Debby) Momenee. He has many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Margaret Momenee, Joe and Illa Streets, aunt, Pam Mathias, and uncles, Gary and Greg Streets; and mother-in-law, Margaret Blizzard; father-in-law, Emery Cron; and uncle, Dan Thurber. Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-8 on Friday, July 30, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805. A celebration of life luncheon will be held beginning at 2 pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at The Eagles #3512, 2730 Lofty Dr., Fort Wayne, IN 46808. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
