Robert Charles "Bob" Ross

My hero’s journey is over on earth and a new one begin. I’m forever grateful I got to walk by his side along the way. Robert Charles “Bob” Ross, 75 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away December 2, 2018. He was born February 3, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Roy and Marguerite (Williams) Ross. Bob was a Fort Wayne South Side High School graduate in 1961 where he participated in football and track. He was a Police Officer for 30 years with the Fort Wayne Police Department. Bob served his country proudly in the U S Navy. He was involved in the PAL Club, F. O. P., and a member of Northridge Baptist Church. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (McNamara) Ross, daughters, Tracy (Marty) Harkinson, Ilene Ross, Chelsea Ross, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister, Louisa (Virgil) Brockhouse and his best friend Smokey, his dog. Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 10 AM at Northridge Baptist Church 1330 E. Cook Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation there from 9AM. Additional visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 2-4 & 6-8 PM at D O McComb & Sons-Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN.
