Sammy Joe Shrack

Sammy Joe Shrack, 62, was born on September 2nd, 1958 in Muncie, IN. He grew up in Fairmount, IN and graduated from Madison Grant High School. He worked for Pepperidge Farms for over 20 years, delivering bread and cookie to various store locations in northeast Indiana. He loved sports. He watched IU basketball, Chicago Bears football, and Chicago Cubs baseball faithfully. Win or lose he was a true fan to these teams. Sammy always had a joke or funny story to tell. His gift was laughter to those he met and loved. Sammy had 3 wonderful roommates that he could always depend on, Tim & Faith Brown and Art Munch. He also had two very special boys that he cared deeply about Nick Berning and Jaxson Brown. He is survived by Eva Lou Cole, Angie and Sean Pranger, Debbie and Mike Estep, Eva and Jeff Stillwell, Dawn Bear and numerous cousins and special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Dottie Shrack, Aunt and Uncle that raised him from the age of 8, Robert and Margaret Justus and Cousin Deborah Justus. Visitation will be Friday April 30th from 2-4 p.m. at Sloan and Sons Funeral Hom1327 N. Wells St Fort Wayne, IN 46808 Sammy wanted to be cremated and laid to rest next to his parents in Muncie, IN, at The Gardens of Memorial Cemetery
