Suzanne T. Thieme Curdes

Suzanne T. Curdes, 85, passed away on Friday October 26, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born on September 10, 1927 in Fort Wayne, she was a 1945 graduate of South Side High School, and a 1949 graduate of Denison University, Granville, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in business. She was a member and former treasurer of the Junior League of Fort Wayne. She was also a member of Delta Gamma, college sorority, Trinity English Lutheran Church, and Woman’s Reading Club. She was formerly employed at the home office of the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, in the statistics department. Surviving are two sons; Martin (Jane) Curdes, of Carmel, and Louis (Marian) Curdes, of Roanoke, brothers; Philip Thieme, Thomas (Nita) Thieme, both of Fort Wayne, Theodore Thieme, of Bloomington, and Wayne Thieme Jr., of Seattle, Washington, and five grandchildren; Carrie, Will, Emma Grace, and Allie. She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard A. Curdes, in 2008, and parents Mary Louise and Wayne Thieme, Sr. Memorial Service is at 11 AM, Friday November 2, at Trinity English Lutheran Church Chapel, 405 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior at church. Memorials may be given to Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
