WILLIE J. FLOYD, 70, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, 2:54 p.m., at Hospice Home. Born July 31, 1944, in Pearson, Ga., he was the son of the late Willie Floyd and Lillie Lee (Sutton) Crumley. He served in the Navy and worked in maintenance at an apartment complex. He was a member of Church of God Prophecy - Georgia. Surviving are his wife, Lois (Bell) Floyd of Fort Wayne; daughter, Marjorie Floyd of Wilmington, Del.; sisters, Betsy (Larry) Davis of Manor, Ga.; stepson, Perry (Sue) Shilts of Fort Wayne; three stepdaughters, Frances Shilts, Catherine (Joe) Friestropher and Jo Ann Young, all of Fort Wayne; mother, Lillie Lee Crumley of Manor, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
