Deloris M McCarty

Deloris M. “Dorie” McCarty, age 92, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Aperion of Angola, Indiana. Deloris was born on January 7, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Lester and Margaret (Aurand) Leazier, they preceded her in death. She attended Fort Wayne Northside High School. Deloris married Eugene E. “Mac” McCarty on November 15, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. She had worked for the Brighton Mushroom Farm, in LaGrange County, the Holiday House Motel, and Best-Kleen Products, both of Fremont, Indiana. Survivors include her sons, Michael D. (Linda) McCarty and Patrick E. McCarty, both of Fremont, Indiana, grandchildren, Kenneth M. McCarty of Chandler, Arizona, Richard T. (Kimberly) McCarty of Fremont, Indiana, and Michelle M. (Craig) Diss of Fort Wayne, Indiana, great-grandchildren, Owin, Kailei, and Olivia, a brother, Glen (Frankie) Leazier of Lakeland, Florida, a sister, Joann (Russell) Krempel of Huntertown, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and an infant daughter, Maureen Rose McCarty. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor Jim Hazekamp officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Memorial donations in her memory are requested to the Fremont Fire Department, P.O. Box 30, Fremont, Indiana 46737
