Gary L. Goetz

Gary L. Goetz, 58, of Orland died Friday, September 14, 2012, at Mishawaka. Mr. Goetz was born September 10, 1954, in Lansing, Mich. He married Connie S. (Roeser) on April 30, 1974, in Coldwater, Mich. she survives in Orland. He was employed at Miller Poultry in Orland. He formerly worked for A & B Flooring in Orland, and also worked for several area factories. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding and working on motorcycles, working in his yard and mowing the grass, cutting wood, drinking beer and NASCAR. He was a Tony Stewart fan and loved his family and grandchildren. Survivors are his wife, Connie Goetz of Orland; two daughters, Corinna and Kevin Diehl of Orland, and Amanda Palmer of Angola; four grandchildren, Kelsey and Trevor Diehl, and Ashly and Baily Palmer; three brothers, Henry Goetz, Jr. Goetz and David Goetz; and two sisters, Jo Ellen “Jody” and Wendy. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Earl & Dorothy Roeser. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Cory Weatherton from Pleasant Hill Missionary Church, Bronson, Mich., officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland. Memorials may be made to the family
